The The Conspiracy Dot.Org is an NGO that looks at the conspiracy around our societies with a concern of changing the narratives around conspiracies or stigmas with the aim to encourage our societies to follow factual information with proven statistics.
THE RISE OF CONSPIRACY THEORIES ON SOCIAL ISSUES OF GENDER BASED
VIOLENCE, POVERTY OR UNEMPLOYEMENT IN OUR SOCIETY.
Our societies experience large
volume of different conspiracy theories about the social issues happening
around them every single day. It is to an extend that some theories or stories
are not an actual fact to what happened on an event. The conspiracy about the
Gender Based Violence, Poverty or Unemployment sometimes it circulates around
without accurate evidence about it and individuals interpret it differently
with their own respective beliefs perhaps proven by the Department Statistics South Africa (stats SA) or reports from
the South African Police Service (SAPS) crime stats, Census and the Department of Social Development.
The conspiracies around social
issues are normally pointed to the perpetrators being male figures who are
most likely to cause or starts the abuse attacks to their female figures
around them, which tends that males can become victims of abuse too, but
because historically a male person is most likely regarded as a person who would starts the attack and the conspiracy theory around that points at them most of
the time.
The conspiracy around Poverty and Unemployment are almost likely to be believed that they are caused
by the lack of job opportunities that are scarce nationwide or not having a
good educational background. The factual conspiracy might agree to differ with
the statements and say that poverty or unemployment can be caused by being
retrenched from work or any related issues.
Poverty has been seen as a norm to some area parts around the
world. Meanwhile in other countries around the world are busy addressing the changes
of their lockdown levels due to Corona virus pandemic, it comes to the
attention that some areas strive to come out of poverty and the changes of
lockdown levels are doing no good to them but to supress them more into poverty
as there are restrictions around these lockdown levels.
When others belief that
conspiracies around the pandemic is bringing nothing but harm to them and
keeping a child from school is more related to poverty and other social issues.
While others are concerned about other potential threats such as poverty, jobs
and whether they will have enough to put on the table and amongst other related
things. Poverty has become a biggest factor mostly to developing countries with
scarce resources to assist those who are living under poverty and for the
urgent need for the country’s economic growth, with many people going to bed with empty
stomach.
Unemployment seem to hit the records high in some disadvantaged
areas as the world is in the middle of fighting the pandemic crisis. The view
of conspiracy around unemployment has somehow made a critic question to whether
unemployment is caused by poor educational background or the state does not
have the resources for the economic growth and to create more jobs for
employment.
South Africa it is not new to
this critic question as the whole country went and stand on its feet,
questioning how the doctors from Cuba were being imported to come to South Africa
to help fight the pandemic while South Africa has graduate students who are not
in practice but seeking for jobs. This follows with the Cuban engineers who are recently been imported to come and help South Africa with water crisis, while we have unemployed South Africans/students who can do the
job for the states.
The ordinary South Africans,
Politicians, and Media have whined about it, and to some extend the citizens
have lost hope and feel under looked upon by its own government when things are
rough for them out there with no jobs around now that companies have retrenched
employees last year due to the pandemic restrictions of lockdown levels that
were implemented.
